06 JUNE 2018
The Event Cinema Association (ECA) will once again be at CineEurope this year, hosting a dedicated CineEurope Focus Session as well as helming an Event Cinema Showcase. Please see full details below...
Event cinema commands an average box office market share of around 2 percent across European territories. This panel will explore what steps are needed to grow this promising category further, with a view to increasing cinema audiences generally.
It will also look specifically at what types of events beyond the arts appeal to younger audiences and families; how technology might help engage with new customer groups; and whether the industry is doing all it can to involve brand partners to create more awareness around the category.
