ECA ANNOUNCES 2019 SLATE DAY
18 OCTOBER 2018
Back by popular demand, the Event Cinema Association is delighted to announce the return of the ECA Slate Day which will take place on Thursday 17 January 2019 at Vue West End, London.
The day will feature presentations of upcoming content, data insights and market intelligence from ComScore and a formal welcome from the new Managing Director, Grainne Peat who will also share the new strategic vision and plans for the Association.
The day will be followed the ECA Box Office Awards and evening networking and drinks reception.
The ECA Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the now well-established Event Cinema industry. The awards will recognise both the production and distribution of content and the crucial and multi-faceted role that cinemas play in the successful screening of Event Cinema content.
ECA Members will be invited to put forward nominations during November and vote for selected categories during December. Some awards will be determined purely by Box Office results.
The Event Cinema Association represents a wide range of global professionals who work in or support the Event Cinema Category. Whether you distribute, showcase or facilitate the delivery of Event Cinema content, your attendance at this monumental re-launch event would be greatly welcomed.
2018 has been an exciting and buoyant year for Event Cinema, particularly in the UK, and with a refreshed Association, it is an exciting time to learn more about what the ECA can offer its members and how the ECA plans to champion the growth, the changes and opportunities of the Event Cinema category.
Please email Grainne at firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest to be involved or to attend.
