From 2009 to 2013, Isabelle was Head of Cinema at the Royal Opera House where she built up a trusted network of 100 cinema partners in 45+ countries and oversaw with her team, the delivery of ballet and opera live and recorded titles to over 1,000 cinemas.
Late 2013, she set up Live Digital Cinema Ltd, offering consultancy in event cinema delivery and distribution to distributors and content providers worldwide. Clients include More2Screen, Cote Diffusion and the ECA.
Before moving to theatrical distribution, Isabelle came from the international TV documentary world where she worked for 17 years. She is a graduate from Business School École des Cadres in Paris and London Guildhall University in Film, Business and German.
She has extensive experience in developing, financing, producing and distributing international documentary films mostly current affairs and music documentaries on DVD and to TV channels worldwide. She also produced and directed two x 1 hour documentaries one of which was shown on French Television (France 3/France O) and one edited on DVD.
Other highlights of her career have been setting up the Documentary Funding Department of the Media II Programme of the European Commission in the mid-90s and acting as an expert assessor of documentary proposals for the European Commission for 5 years as well as setting up new departments within small independent outfits and larger organisations.
In September 2012, she became one of the founding members of the ECA Board. She stepped down from her position in September 2015 but continues to work very closely with the ECA.
